Margaret's passion for beads began at the age of ten, when she went door-to-door selling bead necklaces in Pepper Pike, Ohio. After graduating from college, holding several jobs in publishing, living in NYC and DC, getting married and raising two sons, and relocating to the Midwest, Margaret was able to revisit her love of beads and created Bhati Beads. 

Throughout her new journey, Margaret has been able to collaborate with talented people, share her sense of fashion, and cherish every moment of creative inspiration. Her wrap bracelets have been featured on Sport Illustrated Swimsuit models in bikinis and on the wrist of first lady Michelle Obama.
