Each month we release a lookbook featuring our top ten must-have pieces for the adventures ahead. But as the world paused to stop the spread of COVID-19, so did our photo studios, photographers and models. We were faced with the dilemma of how to continue to create inspirational content. And then something special happened... Our community of brilliant, talented and strong women offered their support as we adjusted to these trying times.
We are proud to present this lookbook, as it is a representation of friends rallying to support each other; these ladies photographed themselves as they #stayhome in our top ten pieces for May. At a time when we are feeling such sadness, we are also touched by the communities everywhere who are supporting each other. We are forever grateful to (and inspired by) these designers, business women, influencers, and creative moms for coming together in our favorite lookbook yet.
I love the Lola earrings - they give a lot of look while being so lightweight and a great pricepoint! When the sequins are created, incense is used to curl them so that each one has its own unique shape. I love wearing them during this time at home because I can instantly update my look and I don’t even realize I have them on!

While spending so much time at home, a linen dress is a fabulous spring and summer piece that feels chic yet still casual. Joggers and sweatshirts are great and all, but I always feel more confident and put together when I choose to dress for the day. Leopard heels, raffia earrings and a basket bag are the cherry on top!

I love how changing my old sweatshirt for this crisp white shirt makes me feel fresh and fashionable, even when I haven't showered in days. It's an easy, comfortable top to throw over jeans, and I'm looking forward to wearing it with shorts and sandals this summer.

This was one of the very first products we launched at Paravel and from day one women have just gravitated to the bag, which makes me so happy. Because of the timeless design and top-handle option, it's very versatile. In my pre-quarantine life I've carried it to dinner parties in New York and through flea markets in Paris. Now I'm using it as an easy hands-free bag for my essentials when I'm running quick errands.

I really believe in the positive impact of color, so I love this shirt for its calming blue and white stripes paired with the vibrant pops of green beading. I usually wear this top with my favorite jeans (or overalls) and an earring that has another pop of color.
