Buying, Marketing, and E-Commerce Intern

To succeed in this role, you must be a self-starter with excellent analytical skills and a meticulous, uncompromising eye for detail.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales, conversion and site traffic using various reporting technologies.
  • Understand and promote best practices across digital marketing channels: SEO, SEM, and social media channels.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary products and experiences to provide solutions for current site enhancements and future developments.
  • Support site management with all aspects of the product cycle (product uploads, merchandising, and delivery) and user experience (ease of navigation and path to purchase).
  • Support web team with the data transfers required for a new website launch.  
  • Assist with in-house studio photoshoots as needed.
  • Support coordination of samples (i.e. receive and return to vendor in a timely fashion to help execute buys)
  • Assist with reports for the buying team (i.e. brand recaps, in season sell-thru reports, RTVs)
  • Enter, manage, and organize purchase orders for the buying team.
  • Update and maintain assortment sheets to provide real time information to buying and planning teams on assortment.

Qualifications

  • College student or recent graduate who is passionate about e-commerce.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritizing and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Strong statistical analysis skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Technical skill proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
