Summer Internship: Graphic Design and User Experience

  • Partners with the marketing team to conceptualize, design, and execute web imagery.
  • Supports and collaborates with the UX team to improve and help develop new online strategies.
  • Stays up to date of best practices and maintains knowledge of retail competition.
  • Approaches projects as a team player.
  • Is a self-starter and stays self-motivated.

  • Supports the Creative Director and design team in developing the look and feel of the Tuckernuck brand online.
  • Present sophisticated, brand-appropriate solutions to projects.
  • Design emails, banners, category page content and site promotions that support business objectives.
  • Initiate collaboration with merchandisers, copywriters, and e-commerce specialists in the production of consistent and captivating brand messages.
  • Identify opportunities for projects and initiatives for elevating our brand in the digital space, beyond those that are assigned.
  • Create visual assets for all of Tuckernuck’s digital channels; social media, mobile, apps, etc…through style guides and optimized graphics for each format.
  • Pull swipe, build mood boards, and visually explore digital experiences and graphic design.
  • The role of this individual is subject to change based on the continued development of their department and business needs.



Fluency in industry standard software suite.
Experience in graphic design is required; experience in web design is regarded favorably.
Past experience in retail or fashion related industry is a plus.
Strong portfolio.




Bachelor’s Degree or course work in Graphic Design, Web Design, Advertising or equivalent.
