Lola Hats are beautifully designed by Lola Ehrlich in NYC. Having started as a small hat shop in East Village, the brand has since expanded into stores across the globe and onto major magazine covers from Elle to Vogue Italia.
Inspired by the textured mats traditionally used to press olive oil, this rustic raffia hat is hand-stitched into a coil that gradually eases out to its final shape. The narrowish crown flares out into a relaxed, sun-sheltering brim evocative of beach hats of the ‘50s while the very tip of the hat features a sublet dimple reminiscent of an olive. The material is so textural that the hat needs no ornamentation.
