Of the Mom-ent: Jocelyn's Spring Edit

April 23rd, 2024

Between your job, social life, and family responsibilities, keeping your style chic, comfortable, and current can seem daunting. This Mother’s Day, we’re spotlighting one of our own who does it all so flawlessly—style icon, tennis pro, world traveler, and our CEO, Jocelyn. We’ve known her for years, yet we still cannot figure out how on earth this mom of five manages to juggle all the things and look so incredibly put together all. the. time. Read on for her week-to-weekend outfit edit and tips to copy her effortless, everyday style.

Meet Jocelyn

When she’s not designing our latest collection, approving samples or meeting with new brand partners, Jocelyn spends every free second she has with her adorable crew of five. “Superwoman” doesn’t even begin to describe how badass of a mother, business owner and multitasker she is, and we’re so lucky to call her ours.

Morning Rush

“Weekday or weekend, mornings are always pretty chaotic. But I’m a firm believer that every day deserves a little luxury (and all the caffeine). These pajamas from Eberjey feel fancy but low-key, and their softness is second to none.”

Dropoff to Desk

“Trench coats are always timeless, and they’ve made a recent resurgence. Plus, I keep seeing these layered moments. I love a utilitarian base with a cotton knit over my shoulders. It’s polished but not too fussy.”

Court Ready

“We designed Tnuck Sport to blend comfy, technical fabrics with 'play all day' designs. From tennis lessons to kids’ lax tournaments, these wearable, functional pieces are truly my court-to-carpool staples.”

Work to Wine

“I love a good power dress, so here’s my power set. I like how this one makes tweed feel modern and transitions from work to wherever. Plus, a hook up makes getting dressed so easy—it does the thinking for you!”

Girls' Night Out

“It’s always such a treat to find time for a quick catch-up with friends. And since I’m usually running from one place to the next, I keep it pretty simple—think a fitted knit top paired with current relaxed denim and a few textured accessories.”

Birthday Best

“For spring and summer celebrations, it’s always refreshing to have options other than dresses. A cropped white blouse works with everything, and these hand-embroidered party pants from De Castro definitely fit the bill.”

Spectator Sport

“When in doubt, a monochromatic look feels instantly pulled together for busy weekdays. This set from Apiece Apart goes from all-day meetings to the afternoon activity circuit with ease. And I love a classic loafer for that tomboy-chic finish.”

“Add a layer and sub loafers for ballets to take this look from lax pick-up to nights out.”

Happiest Hour

“I’m so excited to be carrying ERDEM on Tuckernuck, and this cardigan-meets-jacket makes such a stunning statement. Intricately embroidered and dripping with crystals, it feels totally glam but still works for day or night.”

Two Cute

“I simply can’t resist a matching moment with my daughter. And thankfully, she still obliges (for now!), which makes it even sweeter. This vibrant patchwork pattern from Sea New York makes for a picture-perfect Mother’s Day brunch.”

Fancy This

“For event dressing, I often turn to Ulla Johnson. The details on her designs really set them apart. I love pairing this lace and silk dress with an oversized blazer for a borrowed-from-the-boys feel.”

Gifts That Give Back

For the past several years, we've organized a jewelry drive with KIPP DC public schools to help kids pick out a free Mother's Day gift for the mom figure in their lives. For every limited-edition heart necklace sold on tnuck.com, we'll donate one to our jewelry drive, so the kids have something extra special to choose from this year.
