In A New York (Merry) Minute

November 17, 2023

There’s nothing quite as magical as New York City during the holidays. Dripping with old world charm, the Upper East Side is our favorite festive playground this time of year. Come along as we explore the sights, the lights, the treats and (of course) the fashion, for a whirlwind weekend above 59th st.

Friday, 4pm

Sweet Street Style

Walking the dogs, grabbing gifts, and still looking fabulous…glam girls certainly do it best. A trip to William Greenberg, one of the neighborhood’s most iconic bakeries, is a must. The black & white cookies make great gifts-in-a-pinch for holiday get-togethers.

Saturday, 10am
Wintry Mix

Cue the flannels and Fair Isle for a morning of skating at Central Park’s Wollman Rink. A sleek puffer keeps you toasty when temps drop (and protected, if your pirouettes are a little rusty).

Saturday, 1pm
Meet You At Melon’s

After working up an appetite on the ice, window shop your way uptown before lunch at J.G. Melon. The revered 3rd ave institution is best known for its checkered tablecloths, crowded but cozy vibes and incredible burger.

Saturday, 6pm
A Festive Fête

Get dressed in your holiday best for a gift exchange with your nearest and dearest. A blackwatch tartan cape and riding boots keep it comfy, chic and polished for trimming the tree and surprising your Secret Santa.

Sunday, 11am
Court Date

Layer up in sherpa and sweatshirts and grab your paddles for a round of pickleball at Carl Shurz Park along the East River. BYO bubbles and charcuterie for an impromptu post-game brunch with a view.

Sunday 9pm
An NYC NYE

Put on your party shoes and get dolled up to watch the ball drop from the best spot in town, aka your friend’s living room. The perfect LBD and a hint of sparkle is all you need to ring in 2024 in head-turning style.
