Introducing Julia Berolzheimer’s Travel Capsule Collection
June 18, 2026
Escape with Julia Berolzheimer, style curator and Substack author, to Riviera Nayarit, Mexico. We collaborated on her dream summer collection, curated for both faraway family vacations and life at home in Charleston.
SUMMER STYLE, SIMPLIFIED
“I built this capsule around pieces I’ll reach for all summer. These are silhouettes I always come back to: easy dresses, sets, and caftans for the pool or dinner. They’re not just for this summer, but for many to come.”
THE PRINTED CAFTAN
“When you want a look with a real point of view, this print delivers.
It’s perfect for the stretch of summer when you want a little more coverage but nothing that clings.”Â
THE KNIT DRESS
“Nothing fancy or fussy, just something easy and comfortable.
A crochet head scarf and a statement choker are all
it takes to give it a little personality.”
THE MATCHING SET
“I love this set’s retro,
sixties-mod energy. Wear
it for rooftop drinks, when you want to dress up and feel cool but a dress doesn't feel quite right.”
THE STRIPED SKIRT
“This is my dream summer skirt. Because the shape and the print are so classic, it really doesn't ask for much styling. It’s its own moment.”

ESSENTIAL EXTRAS
“Accessories are where I lean into the novelty of summer—where personality dressing really comes into play.”

Julia's Packing Tips
1. Maximize Your Wardrobe

For me, that's a pareo. It takes me from breakfast, to the beach, lunch, and then over my shoulders if I need a wrap.
2. Plan for Your Itinerary

Think through what each day actually looks like, then build outfits. If there are five dinners, three pool days, and one town day, that tells you how many swimsuits and how many evening looks you need.

3. Embrace Accessories

Accessories take up almost no room in a suitcase, but completely change your look. Take a simple dress and wear it with sandals for day, then add a fun clutch and a statement earring at night.
