HOW Tuckernuck
Gives Back

At Tuckernuck, we’ve always lived by one motto: “Find the Fun!” This message is a part of everything we do, but it’s also a message (and lifestyle) we’ve encouraged our customers, friends, and families to follow. This mission also extends to the work we do in our community.

Our Brand Mission

Thanks to our valued customers, Tuckernuck is proud to support philanthropic efforts focused on the health and education of children in the D.C. metro area. Giving back to local organizations that advocate for and improve the lives of children, regardless of their circumstances, is a core part of our corporate mission. Children have a natural instinct to gravitate towards fun—as well as the unique ability to help adults rediscover joy and “find the fun” in life.

Children’s National
Hospital

The exclusive pediatric hospital in the DC metro area, CNH believes every child deserves world-class healthcare and works to alleviate the cost and panic associated with visiting or staying at the hospital. We have partnered with CNH for over a decade, participating in their annual Race for Every Child and MOMents Matter donation match program.

KIPP DC

Kipp DC is a local charter school system that provides quality, early education for students in need. For the past 9 years, we have held a Mother’s Day jewelry drive to provide pre-K students an opportunity to gift their mothers or mother figures a piece of Tuckernuck jewelry as a token of their love.

Special
Olympics DC

Committed to unifying students no matter their physical or mental capabilities, Special Olympics provides year-round training for students to participate in various olympic-style activities. 2024 was our first year sponsoring the Special Olympics DC, where we provided support to athletes during the 100-meter-dash.

Goddard Riverside & Friendship Place

Fighting to end youth homelessness in DC and NYC, these two premier providers ensure every community member has an opportunity to succeed. We have partnered with these organizations for the past 4 years, “playing Santa” and clearing Christmas wish lists for over 80 families.
