Tuckernuck x Hunter Bell: A Night Under the Texas Stars Dinner
October 24, 2025
To mark our first trip to Round Top, we partnered with Texas designer Hunter Bell for a week of collaboration and celebration, culminating in a farm-to-table dinner.

Discovery is at the heart of Tuckernuck’s ethos—we’re always on the lookout for new brands, inspiring places, and one-of-a-kind pieces. That same sense of curiosity led us to Round Top, Texas—a tiny, one-stoplight town that transforms into one of the country’s biggest design and antiques fairs three times a year. Designer Hunter Bell welcomed us to Texas, where we ended the week by co-hosting a celebratory dinner.

“Hunter Bell is a brand we’ve admired and carried for over a decade. This partnership came naturally, and seeing it come to life in person made it even more special."
-Maddy Grayson, Tuckernuck co-founder

About forty women—artists, vintage collectors, interior designers, and friends—road-tripped across Texas arriving just in time for golden hour. Everyone showed up in their best Tuckernuck and Hunter Bell looks. The result captured the spirit of the setting: colorful, collected, and one-of-a-kind.

Chef Marcia Smart, owner of Kitchenette Farm, hosted and crafted the entire dinner at her farm. The menu was a fun, flavorful take on a casual Texas-style meal—from chicken, cranberry, and jalapeño meatballs to pumpkin miso soup, wine-poached salmon, and honeycrisp cranberry crumble.

"As a born-and-raised Texan, it was such a joy to partner with a fellow Texas company and celebrate one of the state’s true treasures, a place I’ve been visiting with my family for years, alongside our customer.”
-Shallon Hunter Manion, Tuckernuck senior fashion and lifestyle director

Naturally, the table was a reflection of both brands’ shared love of thoughtful details. Hunter Bell linens set a cheerful foundation, paired with whimsical wildflowers, hand-calligraphed menus by Laura Lines, and tableware from Tuckernuck’s curated collection. The finishing touch? Shallon’s antique silver napkin rings, collected over the years at Round Top and brought from her mom’s house in Austin.

Guests took home exclusive totes—a special keepsake that also supported the Kerr County Relief Fund.

After dinner, Grammy-nominated musician Pat Green surprised everyone by performing a few of his hits, including “Wave on Wave” and “Girls from Texas.”

The night was everything we love about Texas—warm, easygoing, and full of joy. A true field party with Red Solo cups in hand, good friends laughing, and cowboy boots two-stepping under the stars.
