A Celebration Dinner in Los Angeles

To celebrate the launch of Tuckernuck x Studio McGee, our founders met Shea McGee on the West Coast and invited some stylish friends for an intimate dinner at San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood, California.
The Tuckernuck x Studio McGee collection is inspired by interior designer Shea McGee’s visionary West Coast style. A California launch party was a must, so our teams flew in (Tuckernuck from Washington, D.C. and Shea from Utah) for the event.
Guests included 25 inspiring women—from tastemakers and influencers to interior designers, business owners, and actresses.
Cocktail hour was served on the patio of San Vicente Bungalows, where guests were encouraged to view the collection as they sipped on the signature cocktail, a vodka Southside, and mocktail, the Sunrise.
Shea designed the collection to be mixed and matched, and guests did just that, styling the pieces in their own way for an effortlessly cool LA look.
Dinner was set at a long table inside the intimate bungalow. The weather was perfect outside, so we left the doors open and let the candlelight shine out as the sun started to set.
This was Tuckernuck’s first event on the West Coast, so the tablescape was inspired by the setting. The table was lined with loose, organic arrangements of wildflowers by Lily Lodge and a linen runner in the collection’s signature Dune Breeze print. Name cards were held in gold clam-shell holders, while custom napkins (embroidered with the collection logo!) were placed atop rattan chargers from Tuckernuck Home.
The night ended with remarks from Maddy, September, and Shea, each reminiscing about the design process and toasting to the collaboration—Tuckernuck’s biggest ever.
