Marina Orth Foundation Brown Stripe Mini Tassel Bag

Each of these bags is hand woven and dyed for the Marina Orth Foundation by a cooperative of women in San Jacinto, Colombia, a traditional artisan town near the Caribbean coast. These brave women banded together after being forced to flee their homes due to the armed conflict of the early 2000s. They returned to San Jacinto, formed their cooperative and later with the help of the Peace Corps, they now sell bags, hammocks, placemats, and bedspreads.

Take the essentials along in style with the Brown Stripe Mini Tote. Featuring braided handles that allow the bag to be carried by hand or up on the arm, as well as tassel details which add to the fun of the silhouette, this is a must-have for sunny days and warm evenings. Pair with a chic caftan and a straw hat to complete your look, and don't forget to throw a tube of sunblock inside!
