Tuckernuck Archive Collection CHANEL Black Lambskin Flap Shoulder Bag

Coco Chanel founded her namesake brand in 1910 when she opened a hat shop called “Chanel Modes”. Coco expanded her high-fashion product offerings and added sportswear, jewelry, handbags, tweed suits, and her first Haute Couture house. In 1982, Karl Lagerfeld was brought in as Creative Director to revive the brand. He reintroduced the Cruise collection, restored Haute Couture, successfully launched Chanel’s Ready-to-Wear collection, and introduced the now so famous Classic Flap Bag with its instantly recognizable CC logo. Today, Chanel is synonymous with timelessness, elegance, exclusivity and impeccable quality.

There isn’t a more iconic style than Chanel’s classic flap bag. Designed in the 1950s when women’s bags were historically held by hand, this new silhouette allowed women to wear it on their shoulder, freeing up their hands. With a few updates this classic style has stood the test of time, and the CHANEL Black Lambskin Flap Shoulder Bag is the perfect example. Featuring Karl Lagerfeld’s famous interlocking CC clasp, a leather-woven chain strap, and quilted exterior, this number is instantly recognizable for its traditional glamorous features. With two interior flat pockets and an exterior back slip pocket, your belongings will be safely intact. Elegant and timeless, this bag is a must-have for any fashion connoisseur.
