Tour Our Madison Avenue Store
September 10, 2025
Welcome to 1121 Madison Avenue, Tuckernuck’s New York City flagship.
Located on New York’s Upper East Side, our newest flagship is designed to feel like a storied Manhattan apartment. The neighborhood boutique was brought to life with the help of interior designer CeCe Barfield Thompson of CeCe Barfield Inc. and Wendy Burns of Burns Buro. Fitted with bespoke and antique furnishings, the 4,200-square-foot space is your one-stop shop for ready-to-wear pieces, home décor, and thoughtful giftables.

Library
Paneled in Jean-Michel Frank–inspired light oak, this room evokes femininity and romance in every detail. Layered with a hand-carved table, a zebra-striped rug from Schumacher, and a shell mirror that nods to our Nantucket roots, the space embodies our signature look: classic with a twist.

Scullery
Shrouded in a chalky blue plaster from Portola Paints, this window-filled space is a cabinet of curiosities where one can look and linger at specialty gifts like plates from Carolina Irving and Daughters, bamboo flatware from Juliska, and tablecloths from Sophie Williamson Design.

The stylist’s lounge, designed for private fittings, is covered in a custom print created exclusively for the store—a mid-century French floral reimagined with an inky background for a fresh, urban edge.

Family Room
An Edward Wormley sofa in a rich mustard velvet anchors the cozy family room. Just like at home, it’s the place to sit, try on shoes, or simply relax. Layered with a plush vintage rug, custom curtains finished with Houlès fringe, and a marble mantel, it celebrates all-American style. “To me, American design is the best of the past and the best of the present,” CeCe says. “It makes the design feel fresh and not stayed.”

Stripes and classics shine in this not-so-moody boudoir. CeCe tented the room in a timeless pinstripe fabric, pairing it with a brass shade light from Charles Edwards and an Art Deco Charles Dudouyt leather chair to balance old-school charm with new-school polish.

Spacious and glowing in a pretty blush pink, each room features a full-length mirror and ottoman upholstered in a Dedar boucle. Intentionally designed by women to ensure you look and feel your best.

Conservatory
Inspired by Jocelyn’s dining room in Georgetown, the lattice-filled conservatory centers on an ARTIFACTS table and Chelsea Editions bench, creating a space that feels both warm and welcoming. Meant for entertaining and easy conversation, this airy room brings the beauty of outdoor architecture indoors.
