Tuckernuck x Juliska “Find the Fun” Oyster Roast

We kicked off fall by heading down to Charleston to cross off our Find the Fun List with our very own oyster roast! As a longtime partner and friend of Tuckernuck, Charleston-based Juliska was our first co-host that came to mind. Friends in the area, of course, joined in on the fun too!
The event took place at Lowndes Grove, a waterfront estate with panoramic views of the Ashley River. It was a beautiful backdrop for showcasing our latest Tuckernuck tabletop collection, which is meant for indoor and outdoor entertaining alike.

We couldn’t resist displaying a long table with our fall tabletop collection and new arrivals from Juliska. Our signature print, Baroque Floral, set a chocolate brown base that beautifully picked up the natural tones of the surrounding marsh and oak trees. The fun part of this print is the mix of colors, so we pulled out the berry hue with linen napkins and did vibrant floral arrangements.
We also played with tortoise and rattan textures, but the beauty of this print is that you can craft your own scheme. Whether you highlight the green, marigold, poppy, or blue, each occasion is an invite for a new setting.
Guests enjoyed cauliflower tacos, oysters Rockerfeller, and a local Southern specialty, chicken and waffles.
Tuckernuck and Juliska each had a signature cocktail: the “Tuckarita” and “Bourbon Smash,” a nod to our Southern location.
After appetizers, there was a strolling oyster bar (on-site shucking included!), a Lowcountry boil, and biscuit bar—all accompanied by a local bluegrass band, Green Levels.
As a party favor, each guest received a pair of our monogrammed napkins—one of our CEO Jocelyn’s favorite gifting pieces for any time of year.
