This trip has been on our bucket list for a while, so we decided to go for it this year. Choosing where to go was overwhelming, but lucky for me, my husband was up to the task: over 15 days we visited 11 sites and cities, 5 National Parks, and took about 1 million photos. See what I wore, where we went, and more, below!
PACKING TIPS

FIRST STOP: LEADVILLE, COLORADO

Leadville has the highest elevation of any city in the US! It’s got a cool mining town vibe and some neat historic architecture. We just stopped through on our way to Ouray.
SECOND STOP: OURAY, COLORADO

This old mining town is surrounded by breathtaking mountains. We did the famous Perimeter Trail hike.
THIRD STOP: TELLURIDE, COLORADO

We just spent a day in this mountain town. Taking the gondola to the top of the mountain to overlook the town was a highlight.

FIFTH STOP: MOAB, UTAH

The landscape was unlike anything I’d seen before. One of our favorite activities was the hike to see the famous Delicate Arch.
SIXTH STOP: THE GRAND CANYON, ARIZONA

I highly recommend going to the North Rim as opposed to the South Rim. There were only a handful of other people there, plus the weather was cooler!
7TH STOP: SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO

Home to the oldest public building in the states, this city is rich in history, beautiful architecture, and has a bustling art scene.

RV TRIP TIPS

8TH STOP: SAND DUNES NATIONAL PARK, COLORADO

9TH STOP: BUENA VISTA, COLORADO

We were just here for a night, but wow, what a gorgeous camp site! It had recently snowed, so the mountains had gorgeous white caps.
