Live an Extraordinary Life: Tuckernuck x India Hicks
Introducing our upcoming collection with designer, author, and humanitarian, India Hicks. Shop starting October 16, only on Tnuck.com.
Inspired by India’s wanderlust spirit and on-the-go lifestyle, the Tuckernuck x India Hicks collection is designed to travel wherever life’s adventures take you. Made in vibrant colors, detailed fabrics, and chic-and-easy silhouettes, the 24-piece collection is a true reflection of her personal style. It is ideal for packing in a suitcase as every piece is a fun, versatile look she created to carry all over the world.
The daughter of designer David Hicks and Lady Pamela Hicks, India comes from British design and British royalty. At age 12, she famously served as a bridesmaid at her godfather King Charles’s wedding to Princess Diana. At 57, she is a designer, author, and humanitarian who splits her time between the Bahamas and England.
“India embodies the Tuckernuck woman, and we are so excited to partner with her on this collection. She tells me that life only gets more exciting as you get older—just look at her adventurous, fearless spirit!”

With Love, From Portugal
“When it came time to photograph this collection, I knew at once we should do this at Villa Verde, the Palladian house my father built in Portugal. It was the most comprehensive project of his career, and is a house of color and nostalgia.”
India lives life on the go—one week, she’s in Portugal shooting with us and the next, she’s in London launching her new book, Lady Pamela. Different climates can make packing a challenge, so India created versatile pieces that can be worn comfortably from Lisbon to London and Los Angeles.
“I wanted to design a collection for the everyday woman,” India says. “This is a tight edit of clothing that can be worn for multiple seasons, travels, and occasions—even a dip in the pool! And it can all be intermingled and mixed up.”
India was inspired by her father, designer David Hicks, and made a point to include his signature hues. “I grew up in a world of color,” she says. “He always had vibrating—never clashing—color schemes. Shocking pinks and poppy reds dominated his designs.”
When we decided to shoot the editorial in Portugal, India invited her daughter Domino, 16, and family friend, Madame Ghani, 93, to be part of the photo shoot. This was not a happy accident, as the collection is made to be worn by multiple generations. “There are many pieces meant for me that I know my daughter is going to nick from me!” she says with a laugh.
A collection for all ages
“Albert Einstein once said, ‘Rejoice with your family in the beautiful land of life.’ That is until you discover your daughter has borrowed all your new clothes, then there is less rejoicing!”
