Driskill Hotel
This iconic, luxury hotel is a Texas landmark. Located on 6th Street in the heart of downtown Austin, the Driskell is the perfect hotel for people seeking the true Texas experience.

Hotel San Jose
Hotel San Jose is a boutique hotel is located on South Congress. The 40 room urban bungalow-style hotel is tucked behind stucco walls and set amidst lush garden courtyards. The outdoor lounge is a favorite for afternoon drinks and snacks.

The Four Seasons Hotel
The 5 star luxury hotel is located in downtown Austin on Lady Bird Lake. This 5 star hotel boasts an incredible spa, pool, restaurant and bar.

South Congress Hotel
South Congress Hotel is another boutique hotel located on SOCO. The hotel is more modern, and boasts, multiple fun restaurants, tenoverten Nail Salon, and one of our favorite coffee shops in Austin- Manana.

Fonda San Miguel
The best traditional and authentic mexican food in Austin, served in a hacienda style space just north of downtown.

Josephine House
My go to spot for lunch or brunch on the weekends. The little blue house located in Clarksville has an eclectic menu featuring the best locally sourced products. Grab a drink on the lawn before dinner next door at Jeffreys.

Elizabeth Street Cafe
A great place for lunch or a casual dinner. This vietnamese cafe and French bakery is delicious. Sit outside when the weather is nice, and enjoy one of there many Bun dishes with a glass of Rose or a punch.

Micklethwait Craft Meats
For those who do not want to stand in line for BBQ. This is where the local chefâs eat BBQ in Austin.

Jeffreys
The perfect place for a special occasion steak dinner. The cozy bar, plush velvet booths and moodly lighting makes it hard to leave. The restaurant boasts an old school martini cart, delicious popovers, and impeccable service.

Uchi/Uchiko
For the best sushi in Austin, and possibly the country. Make a reservation in advance, both restaurants book up fast.

Suerte
The newest and best addition to the Austin food scene. This mexican inspired restaurant in east austin is the perfect place for a fancier or special occassions dinner. The cocktails are also some of the best in town. It was recently named one of the best restaurants in America by Eater, so make a reservation in advance!

June's
A cool neighborhood cafe and bistro, with a great wine menu and Burger. Located on South Congress.

Visit a Museum
Enjoy an afternoon at the Blanton Museum of Art.

Canoe On The Lake
Rent a boat with friends on Lake Austin, dock your boat at one of the many restaurants or bars on the lake.

Go Swimming
Go swimming at Barton Springs Pool (Shallon's Favorite) Fun Fact: Austin has some of the best natural watering holes and natural aquifers in the US.
