The Sunny Escape Packing List

By Tuckernuck on

Headed somewhere warm? Us too; follow us to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands where we explore The Hideaway, a romantic luxury estate. We’ve rounded up the key pieces to pack, plus our best tips & tricks that will make your outfits as effortless as your getaway.

#1 The Travel Outfit

Travel look 101: wear denim and sneaks for the plane, then swap for a skirt and sandals. Of course, a striped sailor tee works for both looks.

#2 The Breezy Caftan

Packing tip: Choose a color palette for your trip, so it’s easier to mix and match all of your items. We’re picking blue, white, and coral (this airy, bohemian caftan can come along).

#3 The Dinner Dress

Packing tip: Lessen your packing by only opting for neutral accessories. They’ll go with every outfit you choose–think raffia, white, and mother of pearl.

#4 The Classic Button Down

Packing tip: You’ll keep grabbing for this versatile shirt. It works well thrown over a suit as a coverup, or paired with denim for a travel look.

#5 The Pickleball Look

Packing tip: our quilted pullover is great to cut the sea breeze in between your match, but it also looks great when you’re on the go in your non-sporty pieces.

#6 The Cotton Coverup

Packing tip: try rolling your pieces rather than folding them. Most importantly, embrace the inevitable wrinkles. These pieces look good with a little wear.

#7 The Bright Blouse

Packing tip: White denim is a must. It goes with this sorbet-striped top and everything else in your suitcase.

#8 The Bold Print

Packing tip: pack at least one graphic print. This modern, seaside-inspired dress is perfectly versatile; it can go to the beach or out to dinner with ease.
