A HISTORY OF ARTISTRY
In 1875, the adventurous Arthur Liberty fulfilled his dreams of creating a London emporium laden with luxuries and fabrics from distant lands. Almost 150 years later, the building on Regent Street in London still produces this classic English fabric.
There's a special place in my heart for Liberty® prints. My grandmother taught me to sew when I was little, we would sew little doll clothes and matching dresses for myself starting when I was maybe 6 or 7. My mom talks about my grandmother making her dresses out of Liberty® Lawn prints when she was younger and how special they were. I love the scale of their happy little prints though, and love picking up pieces for both myself and my daughter Sutton.
